How to Keep Your Cat from Being Evil

It may sound funny at first, but have you ever been around a cat that truly seems to be evil? Or maybe even around a cat that continually misbehaves and seems to hate everything and everyone around her? It actually is more common than you may think to see a cat that is exhibiting bad behavior or is evil in nature.

Do you have an evil cat?

Like people, cats all have very unique dispositions and personalities. Part of the way a cat behaves or acts around people is due to the nature of the cat and some of it is by the way that the cat is raised and the kind of attention that it receives.

While you as a cat owner are not able to change the genetic makeup of your cat, or how it is by nature, you can do your part to make sure that your cat does not turn into an evil cat or a cat that nobody ever wants to be around. Some cats that are thought of as mean or evil are dubbed that because of the way that they may hiss or growl at people, or even lash out at them and hit and scratch them.

These behaviors can be part of a cat’s instinct to survive in the outdoors and avoid becoming prey to a predator. The part of the cat owner is to try to counteract those mean behaviors by teaching them to develop nice and calm behaviors. One of the best ways to do this is to make sure that you start early on in the cat’s life.

Starting of a cuddly kitten

When you first bring home your cute and cuddly kitten that is the best time to begin to work with them on developing good behaviors and to have a calm and nice mentality. The way that you hold the kitten and talk to it, as well as the way that you play with the kitten can have a big impact on the way that it acts when it gets older.

Kittens are very playful and hyper and often can find themselves getting into a lot of trouble, this is normal but the way that you handle these situations and treat your kitten can make a big difference in the way that your kitten evolves as she gets older.

For instance, if you spend a lot of time with your kitten and teach her to play nicely and gently, she can learn that biting and scratching are not acceptable forms of acting in the home. Another way to try to keep your kitten nice and calm is to spend a lot of time cuddling with your kitten and showing it nurturing actions.

Kittens are cuddly and soft and if you show your kitten that you love her and cuddle with her often, it can teach her to have better behaviors and can also help to calm her down when she is being very hyper. By teaching your kitten early on that it is not acceptable to bite and scratch makes it likely that she will not develop these habits and will be more apt to play softly and gently with other kittens and with people.

Cats do not have to be evil or mean, and often times when you see one that is it is because their owner did not spend enough time with them, or show them enough love and support when they were kittens. It can be hard to deal with a cat that is mean and the older that she is, the harder it is to train her, so the best thing that you can do is start to work with your kitten when they are young and teach them good ways to act right away.
