Animals are bound to be animals whether you classify them as pets or not. Hence it is an inherent quality of dogs and cats to hide their weaknesses as otherwise they would fall prey to higher animals. Thus it gets tough for the owners to notice when and if their pets fall sick.

Coughing in your pet is a symptom of lung tumours, pneumonia and bronchitis or may even indicate heart failure. It is advised to get your pet examined if it coughs regularly and do check your pet’s gums and teeth for signs of dental infections. In ideal health your pet’s teeth must be free of mortars; his gums must be firm and red and he must be able to eat food completely.

Lethargy in your pet is also a pet health symptom which occurs when it is either neurologically or physically misbalanced or when there is immunal, endocrinal, hormonal and nutritional disorders. Excessive panting and open mouth is also a symptom of such disorders.

If your pet shows signs of illness it is advised to keep a record of the symptoms as it will help the vet in diagnosing and treating you pet correctly. Behavioural attitudes should also be taken care of as it helps immensely in understanding the gradual growth of your pet.

Nowadays pets suffer from chronic ailments which didn’t even exist few years back. Lack of care and proper nutrition; accumulation of toxins and weak immune systems are the main reason behind such health issues. Detoxifying your pet by giving liquid zeolite can improve your pet’s health remarkably.

Finally it is the duty of the pet owner to make sure that he/she notices the pet health symptoms regularly and take his/her pet to the veterinarian for regular checkups. Keeping a pet should not be your ultimate aim; rather you must learn to take care of animals in general.
