When you search for the term Best Pet Insurance, you’ll will more than likely run into the insurance company called Pets Best Insurance. Does this mean that this company is offering you the best pet insurance there is? No, that would be to jump to conclusions and that is what I will try to go over some of the key points that I have found surfing their website. Before I begin I would like to state that all of the things I’m about to tell you is based solely on my own opinions and should only be used as inspiration when you’re looking to buy a pet insurance coverage.
All the right points of selling
Earlier on I came down on Tesco pet insurance because I felt that they didn’t really have any valuable selling points listed on their website. This cannot be said about Pets Best Insurance and they have several and in fact more than I originally asked for in my previous article.
First of all they have put a small video clip on their site showing the founder of the company with all his pets. Now that is something that really creates credibility! You don’t see many corporate insurance guys being so in touch with the product their company is actually selling. Having a video doesn’t make the insurance package the best pet insurance, but it builds emotional value and trust in the company and the product.
Second point is that they have included customer testimonials. Everybody loves to hear comments from ordinary people like ourselves and seeing that other people have liked the products gives us comfort that we too will like it and that makes us more willing to buy.
Third point (and this is one of my favorites) is a small scrolling feature showing what payouts have been made to pet owners. It mentions the treatment, the cost of the treatment and the small monthly fee that the customer has paid. Now if that isn’t a brilliant way to show not only that they actually pay but also that you’ll get tremendous value for money because the bills for treatments are almost always large and the monthly payment is small.
Last but not least Pets Best offer a ten step guide to things you should consider before buying a pet insurance. The guide is easy to understand and it covers the most basic things you must think through before signing anything. I think that (alongside all the things mentioned above) adds the final touch of credibility.
So what about prices? Well, finding the best pet insurance isn’t always about prices and I must admit that Pets Best Insurance Company has really created a website that pushes all the right buttons. My suggestion is that you call the up to find out whether they are really like the website indicates or whether they have just had brilliant marketing guys working on their website.
